The Connecticut Agricultural Education Foundation sponsored the "2008 Ag Teacher of the Year" essay contest for Agricultural Education students to nominate their favorite Ag Teacher.  This year's essay winner is Jackie Jackter, a student at the Lyman Memorial Regional Agriculture Center.  Jackie nominated her Ag Teacher, Ms. Brenda Mihaliak.  In her essay, Jackie wrote that Ms. Mihaliak was "beyond caring and personable, she has pushed me to constantly strive for my absolute best."  The Ag Ed Foundation held this contest to recognize one of the many hard working and dedicated Ag Teachers in Connecticut.  Congratulations to Jackie and Ms. Mihaliak!
